Simple Magnifier Pro was purchased July 27, 2016 but could not be used because that Android version didn't allow zooming. So while technically compatible it was unusable. Got a new android, went to Google play on a computer and verified the same account now listed the new phone. Good news, the zoom works! Bad news, it was immediately removed because the ads have a "install" button that are easily touched during adjustments. You can use it without the ads but only if maximum magnification is wanted. As for the ads, it was paid for so the ads didn't exist on the old phone. So, while it appears to be a nice application I have never really been able to use what was paid for.
I paid only to be disappointed. I just wanted a easy app. Not easy to use. Uninstalled the solution

Focus works well, just what I was looking for.
Awesome. I checked a lot of apps and this one is the best. No problem with the zoom.
No ads version, large button, best for old guy like me.

This is the best magnifying glass app there is, the focus is spot on so no need to keep trying to see a clear zoom
